Meet our tutors!

Hello, my name is Adeleke Oyebola, and I am a Financial Mathema7cs Undergraduate at The University of Nottingham. As a student, I always asked myself, “When will this be useful?”

Studying Financial Mathema7cs has allowed me to understand and appreciate the beauty of Mathematics in the real world, and my goal is to not only educate, but to show others that what they are learning will help them develop skills which can be used across their life7me.

I have experience across all age ranges, having done a work experience placement in a primary school, as well as interning within a Mathematics Department in a Secondary and Sixth Form College. Through these experiences, I have learnt first-hand how to engage with students, and how to present a lesson in an effective manner.

I also have experience with tui7on. I believe the key to their success, has been the personal element. Tailoring my lessons to their specific needs and learning styles has allowed the students to get the most out of their lessons. This may mean a more gamified style lesson for one student, or a more discussion style for another. Others may prefer to simply go through solu7ons to example questions, whereas others desire to have a more traditional classroom-style lesson.

Meet our tutors!

My name is Catherine. I have had over 25 years’ experience in education.

I have been a tutor for over 10 years. I work with all ages and levels up to and including GCSE

in English and Maths.

I have a patient, kind and caring approach and I pride myself in good strong working relationships with my learners and their family so that I can engage them fully in the sessions.

I also have experience in working with pupils with special educational needs as well as confidence building.

My lessons are tailor-made to the student, and I like to make them fun and enjoyable.

I am a positive person who has an enthusiastic outlook on life. I love my job and I get a great sense of achievement from seeing my students develop and grow as individuals. If I can have a positive impact on their future, then I feel I am doing my job well.
